Attention should be paid to the following aspects when selecting MDF:

1. The appearance depends on whether the thickness and density are uniform, whether the edges and corners are damaged, whether there are delamination, bulge, carbonization and other phenomena, and whether there are soft parts.

2. If possible, saw a small piece of MDF and immerse it in water at 20 ℃ for 24 hours to observe the thickness change and observe whether there are small bulges on the board surface. The thickness changes greatly, and the board surface has small bulges, which indicates that the board surface is poor in water resistance.

3. Choose the MDF with low emission, smell it with olfactory smell, and choose the MDF with less pungent smell, because the greater the smell, the higher the formaldehyde emission and the greater the pollution.
